Wimblington Short Mat Bowls
The Short Mat Bowl League games have now
been completed. Wimblington Chequers team finished seventh from
the top of their division, whilst Wimblington Wanderers finished in
fifth place in theirs. Wednesday afternoon (2.00pm) and evening
(7.00pm) sessions continue, to which anyone interested in trying the
game is welcome.

Wimblington Youth FC
The Wimblington youth F.C. are now up and running and in
the early stages of our new season. The Wimblington Youth under
12's and under 13's have both made a good start to the season.
Results have been mixed, but the performances of both teams have been
outstanding with both tams showing plenty of hard work, determination
and commitment.
We are always on the look out for further players, so
please contact Paul Turnbull under 12's or Paul Cole under 13's if you
are interested.

Parkfield Archery Club
formed in 2001 and shoots at Parkfield Sports Club on
Sunday mornings throughout the year and on special
evenings throughout the summer months. The Club
welcomes beginners and full instruction is provided on
Club equipment. Shooting is restricted to target
archery under rules and procedures of the Grand
National Archery Society. Recurve, compound and
long bows are in use, but the Club does not permit crossbow
shooting. There is a lower age limit of ten years,
no upper limit, and disabled archers are catered for within
the limits of club facilities. Further details can be

Wimblington Cricket Club
plays its home games at Parkfield Sports Club, operating
in the Cambridgeshire Cricket Association leagues on Saturdays
and playing friendly's on Sundays and on some midweek
evenings. New players, male and female, experienced
or not, are always welcome and contact can be made at
